Pipe replacement to close part of Fox Hunter Lane in Hanover County
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A section of Fox Hunter Lane will be closed for one day next week for a pipe replacement project.
According to a release from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), a portion of Fox Hunter Lane between McClellan Road and the New Kent County line is scheduled to be closed for replacement work.
The closure will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Residents in the area will still have access to their homes.
VDOT said the work will be dependent on weather conditions. The agency recommended the following detours for drivers:
- Eastbound Traffic: Travel north on McClellan Road to Peace Road, then east to Quaker Road to New Kent County, then south to Dispatch Road, then west to Fox Hunter Lane back to Hanover County.
- Westbound Traffic: Travel west to Dispatch Road to New Kent County, then north to Quaker Road, then west to Peace Road, then south to McClellan Road to Hanover County back to Fox Hunter Lane.
