Police: 26-year-old man missing out of Staunton may be in danger

STAUNTON, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police is seeking assistance from the public in locating a 26-year-old missing man who may be in danger.

According to police, Justin Lee Cromer was last seen at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23. He may be driving a 2001 maroon Ford Explorer with the Virginia license plate, "AEY-7078."

Police describe Cromer as a 6-foot-tall Black man, weighing approximately 190 pounds. He reportedly has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a rose behind his left ear.

Police said Cromer may be wearing a dark-colored hoodie with brown boots.

"This disappearance poses a credible threat to their health and safety as determined by the investigating agency," a release from state police reads.
