Police look for woman in New Kent car theft

NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for a woman who they said stole a car in New Kent County earlier this year.

Authorities with the New Kent County Sheriff's Office took to social media on Saturday, Feb. 28, to ask for the public's assistance in a vehicle larceny investigation.

Police released surveillance photos of a woman who allegedly committed the crime. The theft allegedly took place between 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, and 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

Police continue to investigate. No further information was immediately available.
