Pug-O-Ween to return to Richmond for 15th year

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The 15th annual RVA Pug-O-Ween will return to Richmond later this month with Halloween festivities for pugs and dog enthusiasts.

Organized by Richmond Pug Meetup, the event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Main Line Brewery.

A social post from the organizer said pugs and their human companions can win prizes through a costume contest and a pumpkin pie-eating contest, a change from the traditional fastest-eating competition. There will also be food trucks for attendees.

The organizer said more than 100 pugs attended the event in 2023.
