Richmond inmate dies over the weekend

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond City Sheriff's Office reported that an inmate passed away in the late evening of Sunday, March 9.
The cause of death still remains unknown, and will be determined by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
The office said that all protocols are being followed as required by the Richmond City Sheriff's Office, the Department of Corrections and Board of Local Jails and Prisons at this time.
