Richmond Police seeking to identify suspect in connection to multiple burglaries
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is seeking to identify a suspect in connection to multiple burglaries west of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard.
The unidentified suspect was seen walking into homes overnight in several areas west of North Arthur Ashe Boulevard, including in the Museum District and Windsor Farms neighborhoods.
He was seen wearing dark clothing and a face mask, and entered through a door, used a flashlight to locate, stole items and walked away from the home, according to video from Richmond Police. However, police said that while the suspect's clothing appears to be bright in color in the video due to the camera settings but are actually a dark color -- possibly black.

“We are asking the public to please lock their windows and doors in the overnight hours,” said Third Precinct Captain Angela Smith. “If you see anyone suspicious in your neighborhood, please call 911. For those with security systems we recommend that you activate them at night.”
