RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- To kick off events for Pride Month in the Richmond area, people can attend Richmond Recovery PrideFest, a sober way to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and its supporters.
The free event will be held on Sunday, June 1 from noon to 4 p.m., at Diversity Richmond located at 1407 Sherwood Avenue -- made possible by VA Pride, Dandelion Hive, Diversity Richmond and the McShin Foundation.
People are invited to enjoy the DJ, drag performances, food trucks and recovery resource vendors that will be in attendance. There will also be a mocktail bar offered by Point 5.
