Richmond’s West End Branch Library to host showing of ‘Persuasion’

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond's West End Branch Library will host a showing of the 1995 movie adaptation of "Persuasion" on Wednesday afternoon.

For Richmond Public Library's "Midweek Movie Matinee," its West End Branch Library will host a showing of the 1995 movie adaptation of Jane Austen's "Persuasion," featuring Amanda Root as Anne Elliot and Ciarán Hinds as Captain Wentworth.

The showing will be held in the library's Meeting Room A beginning at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9.

Snacks will be provided and attendees can bring their own beverage.
