Road closure: Henrico’s Parham road to close for gas main repairs

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County announced that it will close the left lane of Parham Road starting Monday, Oct. 27, due to a gas main repair.

The announcement came Friday, Oct. 24, stating that the left lane of Parham Road heading southwest towards Maryland Drive, will be closed from Oct. 27 at 9 a.m., to Tuesday Oct. 28.

According to the county, the lane is scheduled to reopen to traffic each day at 5 p.m., but may be extended during Monday's closure, "in order to maintain progress."

During the closure, traffic will be able to make left turns onto Maryland Drive.

As the gas main undergoes repairs, delays are expected and the county encourages drivers to use a different route during the repair.
