Route 288 to close left lane for repairs in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Route 288, heading northbound, will close its left travel lane to drivers from Iron Bridge to Hull Street Road.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the closures are due to concrete repairs and will start Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. and continue through 10 a.m. on Nov. 8.

The right travel lane will be closed starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, to 2 p.m. on Nov. 9.

Drivers are asked to drive through the area with caution and obey signage and devices used to direct traffic around the work zone.
