RPS’ Chief Talent Officer ‘will not be returning to the role’
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Public Schools' (RPS) Chief Talent Officer "will not be returning to the role" after being placed on administrative leave in February following allegations of creating a toxic work environment.
RPS sent out an email last week announcing that their position of Chief Talent Officer would be posted starting Monday, May 12.
This update comes after Maggie Clemmons -- the woman who previously occupied the role -- was placed on administrative leave due to allegations of racism and harassment within RPS's Talent and Finance department.
8News reached out to RPS regarding more details about the transition and the hiring process timeline -- a spokesperson responded that they "do not comment on personnel."
