Sink hole affects traffic in Downtown Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A sink hole affected traffic in Downtown Richmond on Thursday afternoon, according to an alert from Capitol Police.
As of 12:10 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, Capitol Police sent out information warning people of a sink hole located at 9th and Main Street that they said "may result in road closure."

Police urged people to avoid the area, and said that Richmond's Department of Public Utilities crews were at the scene.
