StormTracker 8: A stretch of warm weather

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - We will have clear skies for this evening and tonight and it will be a comfortable night with lows around 50 in the city of Richmond which means outlying areas will drop back into the 40s.

Tuesday will feature plenty of sunshine and it will be a warm day with highs in the lower 80s.

Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies, and it will be even warmer and a touch more humid with highs in the upper 80s but there is the chance of some afternoon storms across central Virginia.

Thursday will feature a mixture of sun and clouds with highs in the middle 80s and there will be that chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Friday will be a carbon copy of Thursday.

Saturday will feature mostly cloudy skies with the risk of some afternoon showers and storms as this weather system finally departs Central Virginia. It will be a smidge cooler with highs only around 80.

Sunday will be a gorgeous day with highs near 75 under sunny skies.

Looking ahead to the early part of next week we should have Sunny to mostly sunny skies for Monday and Tuesday with highs around 80.
