StormTracker 8: Storms gone, but winds will remain for tomorrow

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -Quieter weather is on the way for the next few days as our storm moves out of the way.

For tonight we will have a few sprinkles around as a secondary cold front heads into the area.  Otherwise, the clouds will start to break up overnight as we drop into the lower to middle 40s.

Tomorrow, skies will be partly cloudy, and the highs will be back into the lower to middle 50s.

However, the winds are going to be gusty once again on the backside of the weather system so there will be a bite in the air.

Friday morning will be chilly, down to around 30, but with a good amount of sunshine we will jump right back up into the mid to upper 50s.

For the weekend, a cold front will cross the area on Saturday, causing our temperatures to drop from the 60s on Saturday back into the 50s on Sunday.

However, when the front is south of us, a disturbance will from along the cold front and that could bring us a shower or two in the southern part of the state.

Next week is Spring Break for my students at VCU and the spring time temperatures will turn on in full force for us with multiple days in the 70s on the way.
