StormTracker8: Chilly & dreary Friday; Seasonable weekend ahead

RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) -- We will see a cool Friday to end our week. Temperatures will be in the low 40s during the day and upper 30s overnight. Isolated rain showers will make their way over Central Virginia this afternoon and will continue throughout the evening.

Saturday will be seasonable with temperatures in the low 50s and partly sunny skies overhead. Clouds will continue to increase throughout the evening bringing mostly cloudy conditions for Sunday. Sunday will remain seasonable with temperatures staying in the mid 50s.

We will see scattered showers to start our week. Monday will be mild as temperatures climb into the low 60s before a cold front sweeps through bringing cold conditions overnight.

Morning lows on Tuesday will be in the upper 20s warming slightly into the mid 40s by the afternoon. Although it will be a cold day, there will be lots of sunshine overhead!

Mostly sunny conditions continue for New Years Eve. Temperatures to close out 2025 will be in the mid 40s during the day.
