StormTracker8: Gloomy start to Monday; Cool & breezy conditions on the way

RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) -- It will be a gloomy Monday morning. Cloudy skies will stick around until rain showers pass through. These showers will start around 10:00am and wrap around 2:00pm today.

It will be breezy as we finish off our Monday. High temperatures will be early in the day near 60 and continue to cool throughout the day.

Tuesday morning is going to be cold with temperatures in the mid 20s. It will be a chilly day and highs will only reach the low 40s. Lots of sunshine will be overhead.

New Year's Eve remains dry and cool with highs in the mid 40s. If you have any evening plans be sure to grab your jacket as temperatures will be near freezing to welcome 2026 at midnight!

New Year's Day will have partly sunny skies and highs will be in the mid 40s. Enjoy the first day of the new year!

The first weekend of 2026 will remain cool with temperatures staying in the mid 40s. Saturday has a chance for isolated showers to pass through, but we will see clearing by the evening.
