StormTracker8: Wintry mix tonight; Very mild later this week

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- We will have a mixture of rain and snow showers for the rest of this evening and tonight a little to no accumulation is expected across central Virginia. Our overnight lows will fall into the middle 30's.

Any mixture of rain and snow showers early Tuesday morning will come to an end, and we will have mostly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon with our high temperatures climbing into the lower 50s.

Wednesday will feature mostly cloudy skies, and it will be a warmer day with highs around 70 and they're just might be a late-day shower or two.

Thursday will feature partly sunny skies and it will be nice and warm with highs 70 to 75.

Friday and Saturday will be too spectacular days with partly sunny skies and highs in the middle 70s.

A weak weather system could approach the region on Sunday, bringing us more clouds and the risk for a couple of showers. Our high temperatures will remain in the middle 70s.

We will continue that risk of some showers for Monday with highs in the lower 70s.

Looking ahead to next Tuesday we should see partly sunny skies with highs near 75.
