Suspect allegedly robs Chesterfield 7-Eleven while displaying weapon
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- After a suspect allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven in Chesterfield County early Thursday morning while displaying a weapon, police are investigating. The Chesterfield County Police Department said the robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 12120 Harrowgate Road in the county's Chester area at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12. Officials said the man went into the 7-Eleven, approached an employee, displayed a weapon and demanded money and items. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and items, then fled the area. The suspect is described by police as being a male who stands at about 5 feet and 11 inches tall. He was wearing a hoodie, pajama pants, a black face mask, glasses and blue gloves. The following images taken from surveillance footage were released by police to assist the public with identifying the suspect. Police continue to investigate the robbery.
