Suspect identified in Chesterfield stabbing at Marina Drive

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department has identified the suspect in connection to a stabbing over the weekend that left one man fighting for his life.
On Saturday, June 28, at around 11:30 p.m., Chesterfield Police responded to the 2500 block of Marina Drive to investigate a stabbing that occurred.
According to authorities, two men were involved in an altercation that ended with one man being stabbed multiple times. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police identified the suspect as 20-year-old Carlos A. Huezo Rodriguez, who was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding. He is currently being held without a bond at Chesterfield County Jail.
