Suspect in Walmart parking lot hit-and-run sought by Chesterfield Police
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department is currently searching for a suspect involved in a Walmart parking lot hit-and-run.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, July 31, at the Walmart located at 12200 Chattanooga Plaza.
According to police, video surveillance of the incident shows the suspect vehicle's rear passenger side hit another vehicle's front bumper while it was making a tight right turn pulling through a parking spot.
"The suspect then stops and adjusts their vehicle before fleeing the scene of the crash," police said in a release.

According to police, the suspect's vehicle appears to be a white Ford Explorer with an unknown tag. The suspect is described as a white man aged between 25 and 40 years old. He was seen wearing a blue hat, black tank top, beige shorts and black sunglasses.
The Chesterfield County Police Department is continuing to investigate this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police.
