Suspect wanted for vandalism spree on Bell Creek Road in Mechanicsville
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Hanover County Sheriff's Office is seeking a vandalism suspect that vandalized several businesses along Bell Creek Road in Mechanicsville.
Over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, between the night of Saturday, May 24, and the morning of Sunday. May 25, a suspect vandalized several properties down the Bell Creek Road corridor. According to authorities, this included the new retaining wall at Chick-fil-A, Bowlero, a Vape shop, and some property that belongs to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
On Monday, May 26, Hanover County deputies responded to the 7200 block of Battle Hill Drive to investigate, and as of Thursday, deputies would like the community's assistance in locating the suspect who "decided to turn the Bell Creek corridor into their personal canvas."
