Three country artists to perform at Chesterfield Outdoor Fest
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County has announced the musical lineup for the second annual Chesterfield Outdoor Fest at the end of May, featuring three county artists.
The festival will begin at noon on Saturday, May 31, at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, located at 10300 Courthouse Rd.
Recording country artist Robbie Bradshaw will take the main stage at 12:30 p.m., followed by American Idol contestant and country-folk performer Cari Lacey at 2 p.m. Country singer Cody Christian will finish off the day's musical acts beginning at 3:30 p.m.
In addition to live music, attendees will also be able to enjoy new activities, such as the region’s first Canicross 5K race, which is a European sport that consists of a person running with a dog connected to a hands-free waist belt on a bungee line.
Folks can also enjoy the Ultimate Air Dogs dock-jumping competition, a dog-friendly 5k and a kids' one-mile run.
Festivities will also include Metro Richmond Zoo Animal Encounters, a Kids Zone, BMX shows, food trucks and live demonstrations, including stand-up paddle boarding, fishing, archery and more.
