Three kids kidnapped at Fishersville bus stop, potential suspect identified

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police (VSP) has issued an amber alert and identified a potential suspect after three kids were kidnapped at a bus stop in Fishersville on Thursday morning. According to the Augusta County Sheriff's Office, at 8:27 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, they got a call about a kidnapping that had just taken place at a bus stop near the Bobby's Way Apartment Complex in Fishersville. The caller informed the sheriff's office that their three children were waiting for the bus when a black four-door vehicle pulled up to the bus stop and took them. The three children are 10-year-old Jai'Marcus Lewis, black male, 8-year-old Ja'Miyah Lewis, black female and 6-year-old Ja'Liyah Lewis, black female, who can be seen in pictures below. Both of the girls were wearing pink jackets, and the boy was wearing a black and dark blue jacket with neon zippers at the time they were taken. The children were last seen at around 7:40 a.m. on Thursday when they left to go to the bus stop. According to state police, the children "are believed to be in extreme danger" and could potentially be with their biological mother, Shanice Chante Davidson.
