Through "Google Freightgeist," Google Trends is breaking down this year's spookiest searches to better understand which Halloween costume ideas are the most popular.

According to that data, in the Richmond region, the top five costume ideas for 2025 are:

1. Rumi, from "K-Pop Demon Hunters"
2. Jessica Rabbit, from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"
3. The Chicken Jockey, from "A Minecraft Movie"
4. Poison Ivy, from the Batman series/DC Comics
5. Darth Vader, from the Star Wars series

Those in Roanoke are searching for deer, pumpkin and dalmatian costumes, while those in Norfolk are looking to dress up as a Labubu or a banana.
