Tornado warning issued for Central Virginia areas

SUSSEX COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A tornado warning has been issued for several Central Virginia areas on Monday.
At 4:30 p.m., the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a tornado warning for Sussex County that will remain in effect until 5 p.m. on Monday, May 5.
Additionally, a tornado warning was issued for the following areas until 6:45 p.m.
- Central King and Queen County
- Southeastern King William County
