Traffic alert: Route 60 closed New Kent County after downed powerline

NEW KENT COUNTY (WRIC) -- Route 60 East Bound at Longview Drive is currently closed due to a downed powerline.
According to a Facebook post from the county Sheriff's Office, crews are currently on site and detours will be established shortly.
For now, the Sherriff's office is asking residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
