Two drivers seriously injured after crash in Buckingham County

BUCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two drivers have serious injuries after police said a crash occurred in Buckingham County Sunday afternoon.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, Virginia State Police arrived at the scene of a reported crash at the intersection of Howardsville and Logan roads in Buckingham County.

According to police, when troopers arrived, they found two vehicles that had crashed and overturned into the road, and one had crashed into the tree line nearby.

Both drivers reportedly had serious, but non-life-threatening injuries following the crash. One person was flown by Med-Flight to a local hospital, officials said.

Virginia State Police are continuing to investigate.
