Two females shot in Hopewell on New Year’s Eve
HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- The Hopewell Police Department is investigating after two females were shot on the night of New Year's Eve. At around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31, Hopewell Telecommunications received a call about two female subjects who were reportedly shot in the 1500 block of Old Iron Road. When officers arrived on scene, they found two females shot. According to police, both victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment, with one of the victim's injuries considered to be life-threatening.
