Two people in hospital after double shooting in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people are in the hospital after a shooting in Petersburg late Monday evening.
Just after 9 p.m. on Monday, June 30, the Petersburg Bureau of Police said that its officers were at the scene of a double shooting in the 400 block of Ridgeview Lane.
According to police, two people were shot. They have been taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The injuries are not considered life-threatening.
No further details, such as the circumstances of the shooting or any suspect information, are available as of the time of reporting.
