Two people injured in crash on I-95 in Hanover
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two people were injured in a crash on Interstate 95 in Hanover County on Saturday morning.
At 9:08 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, Virginia State Police troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-95 North at mile marker 86 -- the Route 656, or Sliding Hill Road exit.
According to police, a Chevy SUV was traveling southbound and ran off the road to the left. The Chevy hit the guardrail in the median and hit another vehicle.
The driver of the Chevy was ejected and taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, per police. They were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
A passenger in the vehicle that was hit was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
