Two teen boys arrested after man shot, injured in Chesterfield County
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Two teen boys have been arrested in connection to a shooting that injured a man Tuesday evening.
A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were both arrested in connection to a shooting following the issuance of petitions for aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and attempted robbery, according to police.
Both were taken to the Chesterfield Juvenile Detention Home.
This comes after officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 6200 block of Bimini Court at 10:23 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid to the man, who was then taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
