GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Users can now view a new historic map of Goochland County, which provides people the chance to see county maps from as early as the 19th century, according to the Library of Virginia.

In a social post from the Library of Virginia on Sunday, March 6, they announced that viewers can now see the county's historic maps from 1820, 1863, 1880, 1919 and 1932.

The historic map, which can be found here, is the result of a partnership between the Goochland County Geographic Information System Department and the Goochland County Historical Society, according to the county website.

The county also said that during the 19th and early 20th century, county roads were taken over by the Virginia Department of Highways.
