Virginia Outdoor Women at Amelia to host ‘Day of Skill building’

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Virginia Outdoor Women Program (VOW) at the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources is hosting a "Day of skill building" Saturday, Aug. 23.
This free event will take place at the Amelia Wildlife Management Area on 15841 Kennon's Lane, and will feature fishing, paddling, wildlife identification and shotgun safety and handling.
According to a press release, the event will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is open to women of all ages and experience levels.
