The following schools in Central Virginia will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6 due to forecasted winter weather:
- Goochland County Public Schools
- New Kent County Public Schools
- Essex County Public Schools
- Richmond County Public Schools
- Orchard House Middle School, located in the City of Richmond
- Richmond Waldorf School, located in the City of Richmond
- Sabot School, located in the City of Richmond
- The Steward School, located in the City of Richmond
