Woman found dead in wooded area in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman was found dead in a wooded area of Richmond's Southside on Tuesday.
Just before 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 2100 block of Broad Rock Boulevard for report of a person down.
When they arrived, they found an unidentified woman dead in a wooded area.
Her cause and manner of death are not yet available. No further details are available as of the time of reporting.
