Woman injured after being shot in leg in Hopewell

HOPWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman was injured after police say she was shot in the leg on Davisville Court in Hopewell on Saturday morning.
At 8:51 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, Hopewell Telecommunications received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the 700 block of Davisville Court.
When officers arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound to the leg.
She was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
The Hopewell Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate this
incident.
