36-year-old man dead after driving off road, flipping into creek in Nottoway
NOTTOWAY COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 36-year-old Nottoway County man is dead after he drove off-road and flipped his car into a creek in Nottoway County early Tuesday morning. At 3:17 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, troopers with Virginia State Police (VSP) responded to a single-vehicle crash on Winningham Road, just under a mile north of Indian Oak Road in Nottoway. According to VSP, 36-year-old Lance O'Brian Stith was driving a 2019 GMC Terrain when he ran off the road to the right and hit a bridge. He then overturned into the creek. 11 injured in 9-vehicle crash on I-95 in Prince George County Stith died at the scene. According to state police, he was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is currently under investigation.
