55-year-old man missing out of Greene County since January

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Greene County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a 55-year-old man that has been missing since January.

According to officials, 55-year-old David Keith Myers was last seen by his family on Jan. 27 at around 5 a.m. while wearing a long black overcoat with blue jeans.

Myers, seen above, is described as having a shaved bald head with brown or hazel eyes standing at 5-foot-9-inches.

Officials said Myers was involved in a car accident in Greene County on Feb. 1 and was taken to a UVA hospital, but he is no longer a patient there and his current whereabouts are unknown.

He is an insulin dependent diabetic and has been without medication, according to authorities.
