8News talks with Forward Foundation about its upcoming fundraising gala

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) --  8News got a visit from a special guest on Monday to promote the Forward Foundation's 7th Annual Gala on Saturday, Feb. 28.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Andrea Starr, the Executive Director and CEO of the Forward Foundation, to discuss how this event will help support single-parent families in the Richmond community.

"Forward Foundation is dedicated to empowering single working parents so that they can move forward," Starr said. "This event is what raises the revenue that allows us to keep our doors open and provide the programming that we do."
