At least one person killed in crash on I-95 South in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- At least one person is dead after a crash on Interstate 95 South in Richmond on Tuesday.

Just before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, troopers with Virginia State Police were called to I-95 southbound at its interchange with I-64 eastbound for report of a crash.

Details are limited at this time, but Virginia State Police confirmed that at least one person was killed in the crash.

As of 8:55 p.m., both the southbound and northbound left and center lanes are closed in the area surrounding the crash, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
