Chesterfield County’s new mascot to make appearance at CarMax Tacky Light Run

According to Chesterfield County, the new mascot -- Cole -- will make a special first-time appearance at the 2024 CarMax Tacky Light Run on Saturday, Dec. 14. During Chesterfield's 275th Anniversary ceremony held this summer, residents were asked to choose from a list of potential mascots -- a chipmunk, a raccoon, a retriever or a bear. After a few weeks of voting, residents selected the raccoon as the official county mascot.
