Djo to make stop at Richmond’s Allianz Amphitheater

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Musical artist Djo will be stopping at Richmond’s Allianz Amphitheater in late July.

Djo, the musical project of actor Joe Keery, best known for his portrayal of Steve Harrington in the sci-fi series "Stranger Things," announced the run of headline dates this summer after his fully sold-out global "Back On You World Tour."

On Friday, July 31, he will perform at Richmond’s Allianz Amphitheater. General on-sale tickets open at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 20.

According to a release, these shows are in addition to Djo’s entirely sold-out tour with Tame Impala, Djo’s first-ever Mexican and LATAM shows, including Lollapalooza Brazil, and a run of festival dates in Europe that include Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium, All Points East Festival in London and Rock en Seine Festival in Paris.

Djo released his third album, "The Crux," last year. The album surpassed four billion streams across his catalogue, earning his first No. 1 at Alt Radio with “Basic Being Basic” and “Delete Ya,” which are currently climbing the charts.
