47-year-old identified in deadly Henrico tractor-trailer crash

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 47-year-old has been identified as the man killed in an early morning tractor-trailer crash in Henrico on Sunday.
According to Virginia State Police, troopers responded to a crash at 4:49 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, near La France Road along Interstate 295 northbound.
An initial investigation has determined that a tractor-trailer tanker transporting milk was traveling north when it ran off the right side of the road and hit a disabled, unoccupied vehicle sitting in the shoulder.

The tractor-trailer kept moving forward, went through the guardrail, and hit several trees.
The driver has been identified as 47-year-old Johnny Ray Reamer, who was pronounced dead on the scene by Henrico Fire and Rescue. Officials said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
