Eight people displaced after Chesterfield house fire
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Eight people are displaced after a house fire in Chesterfield County on Thursday. Just after noon on Thursday, Dec. 5, Chesterfield Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 4700 block of Pompton Lane. According to officials, the first firefighters that arrived on the scene found smoke coming from a second-floor bedroom. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
