Hanover County Sheriff’s Office seeks person of interest in malicious wounding
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is asking for public help in locating a person of interest regarding a malicious wounding that took place Sunday evening. According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to the 8100 block of Kiwi Lane in Mechanicsville at 5:42 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29 for "a reported domestic dispute." When deputies arrived, they found a 61-year-old woman with injuries that were considered significant, according to the office. The office is now asking for help from the community to locate 61-year-old Keith Lamont Hubbard -- a person of interest related to the investigation based on evidence found at the scene. They urge anyone that locates him to contact law enforcement and avoid approaching him. Currently, investigators with Hanover are on scene and will be gathering evidence through the night.
