(WRIC) -- The Henrico County Police Division has obtained petitions against the male student suspected of stabbing another male student at Henrico High School on Wednesday, leaving him in critical condition. According to Henrico Police, after treatment for minor injuries, police have obtained the following petitions against the juvenile male suspected of stabbing another student at Henrico High School on Wednesday, Dec. 4: Aggravated malicious wounding Stabbing during the commission of a felony Police said the victim remains in critical condition and is receiving treatment at an area hospital as of Thursday afternoon. At around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Henrico Police responded to Henrico High School for the report of an altercation between two students. According to officials, the School Resource Officer was on the scene immediately following the call and discovered two juvenile males, one of which was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of life-threatening injuries. The other juvenile male was transported to a different area hospital for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening, according to authorities.
