Henrico Police search for man accused of taking Good Samaritan’s wallet
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Police are searching for a man accused of asking someone for a ride to a Henrico County store in the February snow, then taking that Good Samaritan's wallet.
Just after 3:45 p.m. on Feb. 11, officers with the Henrico County Police Division were called to the 6900 block of Forest Avenue for a reported larceny.
When they arrived, officers spoke with the caller. That caller, an unidentified male, said he had given a man a ride to an area store to help him out, as it was snowing outside.
According to the caller, he realized after dropping the man off that his wallet had been stolen.

The suspect in this larceny, pictured above, is described as a Black man with a "slender build" and a white goatee. Police said that, at the time of the larceny, he had a small white dog wearing a service dog harness with him.
