Henricus Park Road to close for Dominion Energy work

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henricus Park Road will be closed towards the end of September due to work being done by Dominion Energy.

According to Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation, Henricus Park Road will be closed starting on Monday, Sept. 29, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night until Dominion Energy's work is complete.

Subsequently, the parking lot at Henricus Historical Park will close at 6:30 p.m. starting Monday. Vehicles and pedestrians will be required to leave the park and trails.

Officials said the closure is not expected to impact the boat landing.

The expected date of completion for the work has not been shared yet, but the department said it would be provided as soon as possible.
