House catches fire on State Street in Chesterfield’s Enon area

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A house caught ablaze on State Street in Chesterfield County's Enon area Thursday morning.

At 9:12 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS crews responded to a call for a house fire in the 14200 block of State Street in the county's Enon area.

Officials said the first firefighters who arrived on scene found smoke and flames coming from a one-story home.

Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 30 minutes, according to Chesterfield County Fire and EMS. There were no reported injuries.

Officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
