Man dead after shooting in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — One person is dead after a late-night shooting near Richmond's Monroe Park on Friday.
At around 11:39 p.m. on Friday, March 20, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 300 block of North Monroe Street after they heard "random gunfire" in the area.
Upon arrival, police found a man with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
